    You do the Math…

Look sharp, it’s Sarah J Colman experiencing a Good Will Hunting moment across an attention seeking 70ft billboard in Times Square. (Ok, thats’ not actually Sarah, or anyone ‘real’ but is is her hand drawn equations.)
The calculations were presented to Sarah by Professor Cody Worthington as part ofOgilvy’s recent Holiday’s Inn campaign. Our brainy biro ninja wrote sums on  electrodynamics, scribbled calculus and listed Newton’s laws- all the while on hold to room service. They’re a clever lot these CIA artists, challenge them to Connect Four at your peril!

Nishant Choksi on It’s Nice That!

Posted by James Cartwright @ It’s Nice That
There’s a handful of illustrators out there in the world that can draw a smile from your lips even on the most depressing days of the year. Whether you’ve just been dumped, fired or found yourself the victim of one of those online pyramid schemes where you thought you were investing in the entrepreneurial pursuits of a Nigerian child, only to find out they were ripping you off.
Nishant Choksi is one such picture-drawing talent, capable of immediately elevating your mood with the briefest of flourishes from his brush and ink. The Brighton-based illustrator has been on the books at the Central Illustration Agency for a number of years meaning he’s worked commercially with the likes of The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Atlantic and Wired as well as producing personal books and stories on the side.
With an undeniable flair for creating instantly communicative imagery from the simplest of lines it’s not at all hard to see what Nishant is in such high demand. Long may his witty career continue!

Who is Big Audio Diva? A London girl born and bred, she’s been part of the London performance scene since she was 15 and she’s no one-trick pony. Singer, writer, musician and DJ, music is what this lady knows best.
A self proclaimed music geek she’s been collecting records since her mother bought her first 7 inch in the early 80’s.
Turning her ear and hand to her record collection, after all nighter house parties, she played out professionally 3 years ago to a full house at London’s infamous East London nightspot Cargo.
Since then she’s appeared alongside the likes of Maxi Jazz, Ashley Beedle and The Loose Cannons to name a few and run successful nights at Notting Hill Arts Club, Sound – Leicester Square, Cantaloupe and The Queen of Hoxton.
A lover and purveyour of all things soul, funk, disco and those eclectic classic anthems that fill you with nostalgia, its hard to resist the sounds and charms of Big Audio Diva.
