Tacheles in Mitte, Berlin is an inspiring building, full of artists who pay something ridiculous like 1 Euro per year to have a studio there. Covered head to toe in scribbles from visitors, with giant rusty metal letters in the garden, a cinema, rooftop bar and some of the hugest projections I have ever seen- it is a pretty inspiring place to visit. They host loads of events and you can wonder in and around. Just walking around Mitte is a bit of an adventure but this is one stop not to miss.
